Cette fois ci pas de nouveaut\u00e9 en pr\u00e9paration, mais l\u2019obtention d\u2019une certification qui manquait au palmar\u00e8s de Ye&nbsp;: un single de diamant. Avec \u00ab&nbsp;Stronger&nbsp;\u00bb et sa reprise des <strong>Daft Punk<\/strong>, il ajoute son morceau \u00e0 la quinzaine de titres hip-hop d\u00e9tenant cette gratification.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 31 juillet 2007, <strong>Kanye West<\/strong> d\u00e9voilait le single \u00ab&nbsp;Stronger&nbsp;\u00bb environ 1 mois avant la sortie de son troisi\u00e8me album <em>Graduation<\/em>. Une fois n\u2019est pas coutume, on retrouve sur ce titre une v\u00e9ritable volont\u00e9 d\u2019innovation avec la reprise de &#8220;Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger&#8221; des <strong>Daft Punk<\/strong>. Le titre a \u00e9t\u00e9 sampl\u00e9 par Kanye lui-m\u00eame avant d\u2019\u00eatre mix\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 75 fois par une dizaine d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs diff\u00e9rents. L\u2019un d\u2019eux, <strong>Anthony Kilhoffer<\/strong>, affirmait en interview que Kanye West \u00ab&nbsp;a concoct\u00e9&nbsp;Stronger en cinq minutes&nbsp;\u00bb. On peut voir ici un r\u00e9el contraste entre la spontan\u00e9it\u00e9 artistique de la cr\u00e9ation et le perfectionnisme presque obsessionnel de la finition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il faut attendre plus de 14 ans pour que ce titre rentre d\u00e9finitivement dans l\u2019histoire. Il est en effet le premier single de diamant de la longue carri\u00e8re de Yeezy. La RIAA, l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de la SNEP au \u00c9tats-Unis, a annonc\u00e9 ce 6 octobre que le morceau a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la barre des 10 millions d\u2019unit\u00e9s vendues. Il rentre ainsi dans le cercle tr\u00e8s ferm\u00e9 des artistes hip-hop qui d\u00e9tiennent cette certification. La SNEP a fait le choix, avec l\u2019explosion des plateformes de streaming, de fixer \u00e0 50&nbsp;000&nbsp;000 de streams d\u2019utilisateurs premium l\u2019obtention du single de diamant. Aux \u00c9tats-Unis, la RIAA a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 int\u00e9grer les streams en conservant la notion de vente unitaire. Il est tr\u00e8s rare, voire impensable qu\u2019un album Hip-Hop, en France ou en outre-Atlantique, d\u00e9passe la barre des 10 millions de ventes. Alors imaginez l\u2019\u00e9preuve que cela repr\u00e9sente pour un single seul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qu\u2019a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 Kanye avec \u00ab\u00a0Stronger\u00a0\u00bb est donc une v\u00e9ritable prouesse.
