{"id":556,"date":"2016-03-18T18:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-03-18T17:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/startitkbs.org\/?p=556"},"modified":"2017-02-25T10:34:36","modified_gmt":"2017-02-25T09:34:36","slug":"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retour-le-rocher-de-palmer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/startitkbs.org\/index.php\/2016\/03\/18\/quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retour-le-rocher-de-palmer\/","title":{"rendered":"Quand Bring Me The Horizon retour le Rocher de Palmer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>R\u00e9cit de l&#8217;excellent concert du groupe de deathcore Bring Me The Horizon au Rocher de Palmer mardi dernier<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Quand nous avons appris il y a 6 mois que le groupe de deathcore (ou metalcore ou popcore, on ne sait plus vraiment en fait) anglais <strong>Bring Me The Horizon<\/strong> venait se produire au <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lerocherdepalmer.fr\/\"><strong>Rocher de Palmer<\/strong><\/a>, nous \u00e9tions litt\u00e9ralement surexcit\u00e9s. Le groupe ne faisait que 3 dates fran\u00e7aises : Paris, Lyon et Bordeaux. Apr\u00e8s avoir enflamm\u00e9 le <strong>Reading Festival<\/strong> en 2015 et s\u2019appr\u00eatant \u00e0 le faire pour les plus grands festivals comme <strong>Glastonbury<\/strong> ou le <strong>Rock Werchter<\/strong>, les 5 anglais de <strong>Sheffield<\/strong> passaient par notre bonne vieille salle de <strong>Cenon<\/strong> pour notre plus grand bonheur.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969367.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.starthit.org\/img\/articles\/quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969367.jpg\" alt=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969367.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><br \/>\nMardi 12 avril, 20h30 : Vous savez \u00e0 quel point il est difficile d\u2019assister \u00e0 une premi\u00e8re partie quand on attend de voir jouer un groupe qu\u2019on adore depuis des ann\u00e9es\u2026 C\u2019est exactement ce que nous avons ressenti devant <strong>Don Broco<\/strong>. Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019impatience, c\u2019est la d\u00e9ception qui nous frappe face \u00e0 la prestation sc\u00e9nique du groupe : le show est propret mais musicalement, le groupe n\u2019invente rien, on croirait entendre un p\u00e2le m\u00e9lange des <strong>Funeral For A Friend<\/strong> et de<strong> You Me At Six<\/strong>. Pire encore, les mani\u00e8res du chanteur <strong>Rob Damian<\/strong>i jurent totalement avec l\u2019ambiance qui r\u00e8gne \u00e0 quelques minutes d\u2019un concert de <strong>Bring Me the Horizon<\/strong> : Pour faire simple, on r\u00e9sumera le concert de <strong>Don Broco<\/strong> \u00e0 une phrase entendu dans le public \u00e0 la fin du concert \u00ab C\u2019est bien la premi\u00e8re fois que je vois un Circle Pit pendant un concert de <strong>George Michael<\/strong>. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969418.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.starthit.org\/img\/articles\/quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969418.jpg\" alt=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969418.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"550\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s 40 minutes d\u2019attente insoutenable dans la chaleur du <strong>Rocher de Palmer<\/strong>, les <strong>Bring Me The Horizon<\/strong> d\u00e9barquent enfin sur sc\u00e8ne avec l\u2019excellente <em>Doomed<\/em>, tout droit sortie du nouvel album <strong>That\u2019s The Spirit<\/strong>. M\u00eame si ce dernier a fait des d\u00e9\u00e7us parmi les fans de la premi\u00e8re heure, il faut avouer que les titres de <strong>That\u2019s The Spirit<\/strong> envoient en live et perdent totalement de leurs sonorit\u00e9s pop. Les morceaux du dernier album sont m\u00eame d\u2019autant appr\u00e9ciables que le public n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 reprendre les ch\u0153urs \u00e0 l\u2019unisson comme sur <em>Happy Song<\/em> ou <em>True Friends<\/em>, cr\u00e9ant une atmosph\u00e8re incroyable comme celle que l\u2019on vous d\u00e9crivait dans notre <a href=\"http:\/\/starthit.org\/article-264-le-concert-inoubliable-d-enter-shikari-au-krakatoa\">live report<\/a> du concert de leurs potes <strong>Enter Shikari<\/strong>. Le charismatique <strong>Oliver Sykes<\/strong> n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 faire chanter le public sur les refrains, et on surprend le public \u00e0 conna\u00eetre chaque couplet par c\u0153ur, \u00a0quelques mois \u00e0 peine apr\u00e8s la sortie de l\u2019album. On d\u00e9plorera le manque d\u2019\u00e9nergie des autres membres du groupe, rest\u00e9s sto\u00efques tout au long du concert laissant toute la place \u00e0 l&#8217;intenable\u00a0<strong>Olivier Sykes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent album, <strong>Sempiternal<\/strong> n\u2019est pas laiss\u00e9 pour compte puisque on assiste aux majestueux <em>Go to Hell For Heaven\u2019s Sake<\/em>, <em>The House of Wolves<\/em>, <em>Can You feel my hear<\/em>t et les deux excellentes <em>Sleepwalking<\/em> et <em>Shadow Moses<\/em> qu\u2019on attendait avec impatience. Le public est d\u00e9chain\u00e9, et n\u2019h\u00e9site pas, sous les encouragements d\u2019<strong>Oli Sykes<\/strong>\u00a0et ses &#8220;Push it back !&#8221; autoritaires, \u00e0 multiplier mosh pit et circle pit, faisant de nombreuses fois reculer le public de part et d\u2019autre de la fosse pour laisser de l\u2019espace aux fans d\u00e9chain\u00e9s. L\u2019ambiance est \u00e9lectrique, on ne voit pas le temps passer, on est hypnotis\u00e9 par <strong>Oliver<\/strong>, d\u00e9chain\u00e9 et courant de droite \u00e0 gauche, hurlant de toute sa voix.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Seule point n\u00e9gatif du concert, la belle balade <em>Follow You<\/em> pourtant si appr\u00e9ciable en studio nous ennuie totalement en live, elle est trop calme et trop douce et casse l\u2019ambiance survolt\u00e9e amen\u00e9e par <em>True Friends<\/em> auparavant. Elle n\u2019a pas vraiment sa place dans la setlist choisie par le quintet ce soir-l\u00e0\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969483.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.starthit.org\/img\/articles\/quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969483.jpg\" alt=\"quand-bring-me-the-horizon-retourne-le-rocher-de-palmer-1460969483.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Heureusement il a fallu quelques morceaux et un rappel pour retrouver nos esprits et notre \u00e9nergie pour \u00eatre pr\u00eats pour l\u2019excellente <em>Blessed with a Curse<\/em> qui a sans doute ravi les premiers fans de <strong>Bring Me The Horizon<\/strong> et du scream d\u2019<strong>Oliver Sykes<\/strong>. Apr\u00e8s 13 chansons pass\u00e9es \u00e0 une vitesse folle, le groupe finira sur <em>Drown<\/em> qui, cela nous surprendra \u00e0 chaque fois, d\u00e9chaine le public du <strong>Rocher<\/strong>. On sort du concert avec l\u2019impression d\u2019avoir assist\u00e9 \u00e0 un concert complet, non d\u00e9cousu, o\u00f9 tous les morceaux, m\u00eame issus d\u2019albums tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents se fondent dans la m\u00eame ambiance propre \u00e0 <strong>Oliver<\/strong> et sa bande.<\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>Bring Me The Horizon<\/strong> ont d\u00e9livr\u00e9, sans surprise, un concert exceptionnel, riche en \u00e9nergie et en \u00e9motion, \u00e9motion d\u2019assister au concert d\u2019un des groupes de metalcore les plus prometteurs de la sc\u00e8ne actuelle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00c9crit par Mathilde\u00a0Kawczynski<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>R\u00e9cit de l&#8217;excellent concert du groupe de deathcore Bring Me The Horizon au Rocher de Palmer mardi dernier<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":557,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"cybocfi_hide_featured_image":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[207,31,208,117,121,13,115,124],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.0 -
