Vous vous souvenez de Duffy<\/strong> ? La chanteuse \u00e0 l\u2019origine du subtil son \u00ab\u00a0Mercy<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0? Si oui, alors vous vous souvenez s\u00fbrement de sa brutale disparition sur la sc\u00e8ne musicale. En 2011, cette derni\u00e8re avait affirm\u00e9 vouloir faire une pause sans vraiment expliquer pourquoi. N\u00e9anmoins mardi soir, elle a post\u00e9 une photo d\u2019elle sur Instagram avec pour description le r\u00e9cit des v\u00e9ritables raisons qui l\u2019ont pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 quitter les devants de la sc\u00e8ne en pleine apog\u00e9e de sa carri\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette derni\u00e8re a alors d\u00e9voil\u00e9 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab viol\u00e9e, drogu\u00e9e\net s\u00e9questr\u00e9e pendant quelques jours \u00bb. Elle affirme n\u00e9anmoins \u00eatre dor\u00e9navant en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et aller mieux. Voici donc ses propres mots : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab You can\nonly imagine the amount of times I thought about writing this. The way I would\nwrite it, how I would feel thereafter. Well, not entirely sure why now is the\nright time, and what it is that feels exciting and liberating for me to talk. I\ncannot explain it. Many of you wonder what happened to me, where did I\ndisappear to and why. A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and\nI told him everything this past summer. He was kind and it felt so amazing to\nfinally speak. The truth is, and please trust me I am ok and safe now, I was\nraped and drugged and held captive over some days. Of course I survived. The\nrecovery took time. There\u2019s no light way to say it. But I can tell you in the\nlast decade, the thousands and thousands of days I committed to wanting to feel\nthe sunshine in my heart again, the sun does now shine. You wonder why I did\nnot choose to use my voice to express my pain ? I did not want to show the\nworld the sadness in my eyes. I asked myself, how can I sing from the heart if\nit is broken ? La chanteuse-compositrice avait tout pour r\u00e9ussir puisque son premier album Rockferry <\/em>avait remport\u00e9 une tr\u00e8s large adh\u00e9sion du public, ce qui se traduisit par sa victoire aux Grammy Awards ou encore aux Brit Awards. Elle \u00e9tait r\u00e9apparue au cours d\u2019un concert \u00e0 New York en hommage \u00e0 Edith Piaf et elle avait aussi contribu\u00e9 au film Legend<\/em> en 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On peut noter qu\u2019elle n\u2019a pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qui fut son bourreau\net qu\u2019elle s\u2019est davantage concentr\u00e9e sur son \u00e9tat que sur les d\u00e9tails de cette\naffaire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qui plus est, cette histoire nous fait penser aux nombreux scandales de viols dans l\u2019industrie de la musique qui d\u00e9montrent que le chemin est encore long pour que les femmes puissent se sentir en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans l\u2019industrie musicale et dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. On pense notamment aux d\u00e9clarations de Kesha<\/strong> qui affirmait avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 abus\u00e9e sexuellement par son producteur Dr Luke<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
